PHENOLOGY, CROP STAND, AND DRY MATTER PRODUCTION OF WHEAT IN RESPONSE TO BENEFICIAL MICROBES AND ORGANIC MATTER SOURCES

چکیده

Adding organic matter to soil proved an efficient strategy for restoring fertility and improving crop dry – indicator of yield potential. In this regard, evaluating the sources (OM) (control, poultry manure [PM], farmyard [FYM], compost, mungbean residues [MR]) provide 120 kg N ha-1 effective microbes (EM) (0, 100, 200, 300 L ton-1 OM) as 2% solution proceeded in field conditions during 2017–2019. The sowing wheat seeds (cv. Pirsabak 2015) at took place using RCB design with four replications. Results showed that PM/FYM had delayed phenology improved biomass-related parameters, (DM) accumulation, growth rate (CGR) more than compost MR. However, results were pronounced when applied EM OM from PM. maximum DM (55%) accumulation plant parts occurred beyond 100 days after (DAS). A marked increase CGR 60 DAS a reduction appeared irrespective treatments. case EM, revealed superior terms growth, CGR, phenology. Structural equation modeling suggested production gained direct effect (46.1%) stand (30.4%) but no indirect (24.8%). conclusion, PM or FYM stand, development, wheat.

In vitro Gas Production and Dry Matter Digestibility of Irradiated Pomegranate (Punica granatum) Seeds

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of irradiation of pomegranate seed (PS) on chemical composition, digestibility and kinetic of gas production. Pomegranate seeds were exposed to gamma ray (GR) and electron beam (EB) at doses of 5, 10, 15 and 20 kGy. Three ruminally fistulated rams were used for obtaining ruminal fluid for in vitro digestibility and gas production measuremen...

Response of Fresh Forage, Dry Matter and Yield Components of Sorghum to Different level of Nitrogen and Cutting Height

BACKGROUND: Fertilizer management plays an important role for obtaining satisfactory yields and to increase crop productivity. Nitrogen is generally a limiting nutrient in crop production, and especially in sorghum, as it has been said to be the most responsive nutrient for its production. OBJECTIVES: Current study was conducted to assessment effect of urea fe...
